Ryan Holt joined the Cal Poly animal science department team in September
2003. He came aboard as the poultry unit manager. Holt is responsible
for all operations at the poultry unit, from facilities and bird management,
egg sales and distribution to dorm student activities.
Holt, a class of 2000 Cal Poly alumnus, graduated with a bachelor’s
degree in business administration and minors in philosophy and poultry
management. Following graduation, Ryan spent two years in the egg industry
with a leading west-coast egg producer. Most recently, Ryan spent one year
with the Foster Farms Northwest division in Kelso, Washington. He holds
close ties with all aspects of the poultry industry. |
